How do I add a YouTube video into my Blackboard course?

OPTION 1: Search for any video
1. Log in to Blackboard.
2. Navigate to the area in Blackboard where you want the video to appear.
3. Click Build Content -> YouTube Video.
4. Enter the search term in the field or the exact YouTube video URL and click Go.
5. Click Select from the display results once Blackboard finds your video.
6. Enter a brief description.
7. Modify View options under Step 2 Mashup Options.
8. Modify any other settings as desired.
9. Click Submit.
OPTION 2: Search for your videos
1. Log in to Blackboard and access your course.
2. Navigate to the area in Blackboard where you want the video to appear.
3. Click Build Content -> Item.
4. Enter a title for the content item.
5. Click the webcam to activate Video Everywhere. It is the first icon in the third row.
6. Click the Sign into YouTube button and enter your Google credentials.
7. Grant access to YouTube to work with your UMBC Google account. You will only have to do this the first time.
8. Click Browse tab to review your video collection.
9. Click the blue Insert button to select the video from the collection.
10. At the next screen, you can specify how big you’d like the video to appear on the screen. It’s best to leave this set to the default settings.
11. Click Submit.
